Chairman Senate of Pakistan Mian Raza Rabbani has highly evaluated and praised Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and President of APA, who has led the Asian Parliamentary Assembly over the past two years has achieved tremendous success in strengthening the role of the APA to enhance solidarity and cooperation among all people’s representatives in Asia for peace building mechanisms dealing with regional and global issues.

Taking the time to attend the First Executive Council Meeting of the 10th APA Plenary Session, Chairman Senate of Pakistan Mian Raza Rabbani paid a courtesy call and working discussion with Samdech President.

Chairman Senate of Pakistan Mian Raza Rabbani has addressed the success in organizing the 8th and 9th APA Plenary Session and other meetings in this year 2017. These achievements are the contribution and dedication of the Cambodian Parliament under the leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN.

H.E. Mian Raza Rabbani has requested Samdech President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia to promote and bolster the relation between the two countries, Cambodia and Pakistan, in which H.E. Chair of Senate Pakistan has proposed to exchange experiences between the two Secretariat General of both houses. H.E. Chair of Senate Pakistan has invited Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN to lead delegations to pay official visit in Pakistan in the near future.

Samdech Akka Moha HENG SAMRIN, President of APA has highly appreciated the Senate of Pakistan, who led the Standing Committee Meeting of Political Affairs and put forward draft resolution to the supreme benefit of APA member countries. Those draft resolutions have been examined and discussed in this First Executive Council Meeting of the 10th APA Plenary Session.
Samdech added that the Pakistani parliament has been cooperating and supporting the activities of the Cambodian Parliament over this past two years. During the courtesy call, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN said that he was optimistic that after the end of Cambodia's term as President of the APA, the Pakistani Parliament would continue to support the progress of the APA.

Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN accepted the invitation of the Chairman of Pakistani Senate, promising to find the right time to lead delegations of the Cambodian Parliament to Pakistan.
