Phnom Penh, 25 November 2024 – The 11th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace wrapped up Monday evening with a dinner hosted by Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly.

“The dialogue over the past two days has produced a practical roadmap showing our shared commitment to fostering world peace, prosperity, and harmony,” Samdech Khuon Sudary said in remarks to delegates.

“Each one of us, in our respective roles, contributes to a brighter, more peaceful world,” she added. “Let us continue this momentum with meaningful actions that yield tangible outcomes for the international community.”

Samdech Khuon Sudary highlighted the need to “continue our journey together to continuously maintain and strengthen the foundations and ecosystem of peace through dialogue, diplomacy, and the rule of law.

“Indeed, we have built the momentum, created a new milestone. The Phnom Penh Declaration and the Universal Peace Charter that we have adopted provide us wisdom and strategic compass to move forward.

“I am confident that solidarity, shared commitment and leadership among peace lovers will build a new wave for world peace,” she said.

“Together, we can achieve more. Together, we can create greater impact. Let us continue working hand in hand, building on the friendships and shared values celebrated here tonight.”
