Phnom Penh, 2 October 2025 — Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on Thursday afternoon presided over a meeting of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly to review and approve a number of agenda items.

As a result, the Standing Committee endorsed five draft laws, submitted by the Royal Government, and agreed to task the Commissions of the National Assembly for further examination and reporting back to the Standing Committee. The five bills are as follows:

1.  Draft Law on the Approval of the ASEAN Food Safety Regulatory Framework Agreement.
2.  Draft Law on the Approval of the Protocol to Amend the ASEAN Agreement on the Movement of Natural Persons.
3.  Draft Law on the Approval of the First Protocol to Amend the ASEAN-Hong Kong, China Free Trade Agreement.
4.  Draft Law on the Approval of the Second Protocol to Amend the Agreement Establishing the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area.
5.  Draft Law on the Approval of the Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation.
