National Assembly, 20 September 2024 – Samdech Maha Rathasapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, presided over the Extraordinary Session of the 7th Legislature of the National Assembly this morning to pass a vote to revise the composition of two cabinet members of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The National Assembly unanimously approved the proposal, appointing H.E. Mr. Huot Hak as Minister of Tourism and H.E. Mr. Sok Soken as Minister of Inspection.

Samdech Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, emphasized that this adjustment aims to enhance the effectiveness of the Royal Government in serving the country and its people, in line with the Pentagonal Strategy - Phase 1, which focuses on five key principles: Growth, Employment, Equity, Efficiency, and Sustainability. It also aligns with the five key priorities: People, Road, Water, Electricity, and Technology, particularly Digital Technology.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his gratitude to the National Assembly, chaired by Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei Khuon Sudary, for their continuous support and cooperation with the Royal Government in advancing the interests of the nation and the people.
