Vientiane, Lao PDR, 20 October 2024 – Cambodian National Assembly delegates have taken part in a hearing between the general secretariats of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

The meeting on 19 October included the Honourable Veng Sakhon, Member of the National Assembly Commission on Planning, Investment, Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Development, Environment, Water Resources and Meteorology, and the Honourable San Sarana, Member of the Commission on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Information.

Held on the sidelines of the 45th AIPA General Assembly, the meeting reviewed progress in cooperation between AIPA and ASEAN. The hearing was the third since 2022 when Cambodia hosted the 43rd AIPA General Assembly.
