Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly, urges the working group to construct the new administrative building of the National Assembly with transparency, accountability, quality assurance and timely completion to prepare for the upcoming inauguration ceremony.
The push was made on the occasion of Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei Khuon Sudary presiding over a meeting to review the progress of the implementation of the grant agreement between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in the morning of Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the National Assembly Palace.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the building funded by the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam was held on December 21, 2021 under the high presidency of Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, the then President of the Cambodian National Assembly and His Excellency Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the then President of Viet Nam.
After listening to the detailed report and comments by the project implementing agencies, including the National Assembly’s Ad-hoc Committee, Project Management Unit (PMU), International Consulting Company (Archetype), Construction Company (TCV) and the participants of the meeting, Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei commended all the working groups who have been working hard to implement this project so far.
Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei hopes that the construction project will be completed on time with high quality to meet the needs of the National Assembly. Samdech believes that this new administrative building will become a symbol of friendship between Cambodia and Viet Nam.
